PriceGrabber is the #1 shopping comparison website in the U.S. with over one hundred million products in its catalog.
As a Senior Web Designer at PriceGrabber.com for the past nine years, I worked on hundreds of projects, including major site redesigns, responsive websites, design ads for major brands, motion graphic videos, presentations, mobile applications, development and more. I have created all of the designs on this page as well as most of the HTML/CSS.
The following projects are property of PriceGrabber®
The objectives were to reduce the total page weight by 40%, increase rendering speed by 20%, reduce the number of images, reduce css and html file sizes and get a better user engagement.
After many a/b tests, we noticed that green call-to-action buttons worked better than other colors. We also noticed that some categories worked better when search results were displayed in a grid-style layout. For other categories we created a list-style layout.
The objective was achieved for the front-end thanks to the use of sprite images, extensive use of HTML5 and CSS3, and a revamping of the four main pages layout.
The objective of this project was to reduce the number of clicks to get to a search result page, and increase traffic by 20%. At the time, PriceGrabber had a Top Category page and a Sub-Category page before reaching the Search Result page. We combined those two pages into one. Many design iterations were necessary to attain our objective.
After doing some user testing of the mockups, we realized they didn't provide the results we wanted.
We achieved the desired results using lists for electronics and a more visual approach for categories such as clothing and toys.
This site was built to represent the new "About Us" section of PriceGrabber
